thanks getting stuff tomorrow ill update ya. also i my boost guage(Faze) has a plastic hose ahould i get a rubber hose instead? bc it saying im boosting past 25 psi
Well, 25psi would explain the fuel cut. You need to figure out WHY you are overboosting.
[edit]
And quit pushing the car into boost with that problem, or we will be reading in another post very soon about how you blew your headgasket or trashed your motor.
You will hit fuel cut at a constant (mbc set to) 17-18lbs with a 14b, 450s and a stock ecu. You can spike higher than 25lbs, at one point on a cold day I maxed my 30psi gauge with a spike when my hose came off my mbc.

I have this same problem. I was fine doing 15psi but after my Supra sidemount install, 15psi is WAY different and too much for the 450s to handle. I have 750s but waiting for ECMLink. Turn your boost down...especially if youre boosting 25psi on stock injectors and fuel pump! Thats what I did.
i dont trust that i can shift safely around 4000k
Please stop doing that
haha did that fuel cut give you a heart attack?

thought my car blew up i was about to be pissed. does a split flex pipe bad or can it cause this?no just freaked me out, thought my car blew up i was about to be pissed. does a split flex pipe bad or can it cause this?
definitely fuel cut. The first time I had ever hit fuel cut I thought I blew a rod through the bottom end. Then I let back out the clutch and praaaaaaaaise hallelujah! the car was fine...
I was running 16psi on my 450's in my gsx and never had a problem. wideband always read a nice 11.7! But of course I had a walbro 255 and ebay FMIC and some other supporting mods.
no mods except a 2g head thats all.

I never knew a head with smaller ports was an upgrade. Performance secret?
If by "split" you mean "completely separated from the rest of the exhaust" then yes. Your downpipe would, in effect, be about 3ft long at best....there's absolutely NO backpressure in the turbine housing. I'm sure your wastegate is opening at 10psi, but the exhaust just continues to flow through the unrestricted turbine housing, spooling the turbo more and more. Welcome to the wonderful world of boost creep.
