Hey my dsmlink just came in the mail friday. I still have a couple of noob questions. I have read almost everything on the ecmtuning wiki. I was wondering what WOT is i have searched and searched and still could not find anything. Also, do i need a wideband o2, with my 272 cams is there anything that i am looking to change the settings on. Thanks

Wide open throttle, meaning you have the accelerator pegged to the floor ;) A wideband O2 helps A LOT with any tuning proggy, I would highly recommend getting one, either the AEM Uego or the LC-1 from Innovative

Ok Thanks alot. I was just asking about the wideband i thought i could monitor it with dsmlink, but i will get one just things are tight now since i bought dsmlink. At WOT my car has no power at all or from a take off do you guys know what that could be also. Thanks

You hook the wire coming out of the back of the wideband to where the stock rear O2 sensor wire is going into the ECU and it will log it in ECMLink, very handy :)

you can log the wideband through different inputs, not just the rear 02.

You can use EGT, MDP, or if you are running a GM MAF, you can log through IAT, and BARO with some resistors. Which can all be found on the wiki!

you will love ECMLink, once you have the package, make sure you register on the ECMLink forums!

You will have all your questions answered, and your logs analyzed by VERY experienced users! The owners will help you out also! Great support!!
