fills like fuel cut

so i have a 2g gst when it start to build boost its like it hits a brick wall. it holds boost but dosent hold speed or rpm the turbo seal is on the way out. the car has very few mod. k&n filter hard intercooler pipes and a cat back exaust autometer boost and volt gauge. and a blitz turbo timer i'm new to the whole turbo thing and need advice anything would help i was also thinking could it be bov because when the boost is released it dosen't sound the same as it did before the problem the check engine light is on but no codes are shown. so please help i have no idea

You shouldnt be hitting fuel cut with stock boost. What boost are you hitting?

it won't go over 10lbs

It definately shouldn't be fuel cut. Just out of curiousity, have you done a boost leak test?

These cars are notorius for leaking at the throttle body seals. Also build one of these. IC Pipe Tester

yes i did i set it to 15 lbs and it held

Go higher. Set it for 25lbs and see what happens.

How long did it hold 15lbs and how long did it take to reach zero?

Is your Maf plugged in all the way?

Might have a boost leak causing the turbo to suck in more air than it needs to get to 10psi making the MAF think your over boosting because of all the extra air getting pulled in so it cuts the fuel. So just do a boost leak test.
