So here is the problem about a month ago my alternator decided to take a dump (well the voltage regulator in it). Which normally isn’t that bad….. normally. The over charging took out my battery, the AFC, my auto seat belts, and my turbo timer. Anyway everything has been replaced and now the new AFC II will no shut off when the car is turned off. The first night after I retuned the car the AFC II stayed on and almost drained the battery dead. Has anyone had this problem before? I checked and rechecked all of the fuses and the wiring to the AFC II. I rewired the AFC to a switch and… well now I can at least turn it off.

Now I am trying to fix the auto seat belts. I replaced the seat belt computer, the fuses, relays by the motor and the motor but still no seat belts. I know most people are just unhooking them. More then anything I have to figure out what is draining the power. Is it possible for the ECU to drain the battery and cause the seat belts not to work? I have checked and replaced ever thing but the ECU. I just need to get thing right before my dyno tune in a few weeks.
 
I can help you with this but it may take some time and testing. My first question is how do you know all those things you said went bad, really went bad?

I hope you replaced the alt first then checked everything.

You have a constant draw assuming your AFC is wired correctly. Get out the schematic and trace the power wires that go to the ecu all the way up the line and fine where the constant draw is coming. You may just have to use the amp gauge on your volt meter to see where it is coming from.

Seat belts, again follow all the schematics methods for checking the seat belts, and no the ecu does not control the seatbelts.

You stated that you had a turbo timer, if that thing is not turing off the system your car would always be in the "ON" key positon killing your battery.

It is possible for a ecu a failure where it causes it to remain powered on. When it dies do you hear any relay/ solenoid clicks? Not positive on the seat belt problem.

Yeah the alternator was the first thing I replaced…. The TT was fired but I can turn the car off and on, drive it the whole nine yards. The ECU clicks when turned off. The car beeps (like it did when the seat belts use to move) and beeps again when you turn it off.
