MAF replacement

You can do the GM MAFT blow through set up. which would also let you vent your BOV.(You can get rid of the duct tape connector hose going to the intake in your other thread) You can also get AEM EMS and run a speed density setup (which can be expensive)

ok ok ok
let me see if i got it right

ok
so get a GM MAF
and i need a MAF translator?
whats a translator

and im seeing them connected to the upper IC piping
do i need to have it there
or can i replace the stock MAF with the GM MAF in the same position?

Read the link I posted to figure out what the translator is. Or search.

No, it does not need to be in the uicp. When it is there, it is in blow thru mode and will allow you to vent your bov without any adverse effects.

You can replace your stock MAS with it and this will be in draw thru mode. You can't vent your bov with this setup.
