cel code 44

so i was driving today and my car all of a sudden almost dies so i floor it and then the car starts like working again then i almost get home and the thing starts doing it again like chugging and everything
i pull it in the garage and i get a code 44 and i think im getting a maf code but i just replaced my maf
while im in the garage i pull out the 2 and 3 spark plug wires and the car doesnt do anything different so im thinking my coil pack is bad
what do u guys think?

my haynes manual says 44=ignition coil or ignition power transistor. You should score one (a manual), they are cheap and uber-helpful. It outlines procedures for checking both components with a multi-meter. Niether part is too inexpensive. It would be good to figure out which one is actually broke.

i cant find a 90 coil pack anywhere
but i found a 91+ one
how do u wire it in
