Have you checked all the hose connections? Are you still using the plastic nylon hose? What brand of gauge? Where do you have the gauge tapped into?

It is a autometer phantom series. It was tapped in between the wastegate actuator and the solenoid when i got the car and thats were i left it. It worked fine with the stock turbo and when i did the swap i hooked it up the same way and it does not register any boost.

+1

The plastic line probably popped off out of the rubber T that is supplied with the gauge. Put some zip ties around the connection and you won't have a problem again.

Yes that is normal. Your not producing alot of boost to blowoff but there still is some. So when the bov opens it only blows off a little bit of air compared to when your at full boost.
