OK well I have to replace the alternator in my 1997 Eclipse Gs. I already have a new one and was just wondering how do I put it in? from the looks of it we have to drop the front axle. Is that correct? We took off the wheel and the caliper but cant seem to get the rotors off, I have slotted AEM rotors. Can anyone steer me in the right direction???

Thanks a lot!

Hope this helps you out good 1995-98 Vehicles

Just go in from under the car that's how I did mine. You can figure it out. I did it my first time a long time ago. Jack the car up and it may help to remove the pass wheel but not needed.

take off the drivers side fan to give you more clearance. it's a more difficult if you have an fmic where the piping runs that side, might require removing it for more clearance as well. Other than that its straight forward.

Make sure the belt/tensioner is tight, or you get squeel during startup
