Need Help! Drivetrain problem...

Hey guys I'm new and I need help! I have a 91 Eagle Talon Tsi AWD. Last night the car drove flawlessly wherever I needed to go. Then me and my buddy decided to launch it, first launch went great then I attempted to launch it a second time, before I launched it, it felt like something was wrong, like me e-brake was on or something holding it back. I launched the car at 4500 rpm, it launched hard in 1st, went into 2nd good and 3rd gear there was a loud pop, so I let off and coasted the car into a stop. Shut it off and waited for a couple of minutes, looked underneath the car and under the hood to see if something was wrong. Nothing was leaking, so I decided to start it to see if it will move. I put into 1st and let off the clutch and it didn't move anywhere, so I turned it back off and went threw the gears while the car was shut off, 1st gear went in and got stuck backing it into 2nd, 2nd gear was good and 3rd gear got stuck, I had to fight with it a lot just to get it out! 4th was ok and I couldn't find 5th or reverse. We went to go put it on a trailer and the car would not even move, we tried to push it and it was stuck in one place. I started the car and put into neutral, but as soon as I let off the clutch the car jumped like it was stuck in a gear. We had to drag it onto the trailer. We got the car home and I let it sit overnight, in the morning when we went to get it off the trailer, it rolled off just fine. I started the car to see if it would move and nothing,the wheels locked up again, I don't know what it could be, can somebody help?

Try checking the connections outside of the tranny, check the slave cylinder, u might need to put the car on ramps or on stands.

It sounds like you've majorly hurt your transmission, but the only way to get a good idea of what you're up against would be to tear into your trans and see what broke.

Some people really have no clue... they just hop in a car and give it hell and then wonder what happened and why. I mean just reading that story makes me think this is a highschool kid who jumped behind the wheel felt some power and thought RACE CAR!!!

. k well yeah man like primo101 said, it sounds like u pretty much F#%ked up your trany. check the flywheel, clutch thickness. altho none of these will lock the wheels but i would check em real good. if not then.....cv axles, transfercase, differential, and if all looks good.....tranny as your last problem to look for man. by the gears lockin up on u wile car is off..could be the internals in the tranny.
