well before i get blasted i have the resources the knowledge and the hook ups to do this swap. i have done my searching. i am gonna swap my 97 gst to an awd. i have one question and that is which years of dsm awd donnor cars will work for my 97 gst.

Yes any 2g Talon or Eclipse will work. If your cars a standard, obviously you want a doner car thats a standard to match. Are you pieceing it together or getting a complete doner? I believe not all transfer cases are the same for 2g's? So if your pieceing, verify this. And no, you can't use a 1g as a doner, their completely different.

Right... you will want to get the trans, t-case, and rear end all from the same years either 95-96 or 97-99 due to different ratios between the years. Everything else should be the same.

Doesn't sound like you have searched enough yet. I'll let everyone else make bad comments towards you. You need an AWD transmission, transfer case, drive shaft, and rear diff. setup from a 97 to 99 GSX or 97 to 98 Talon TSI. You'll also need the associated mounts, and the fuel tank from the AWD as well. There are a couple parts to weld, and some light fabrication. Pretty straight forward conversion once you have the 2 cars side by side. There is a video comparison of the differences in 2g AWD setup's on Jack's website. The link is below.
