Ok, I replaced my fuel filter yesterday, drove it afterwards and everything was fine. I checked it today for leaks when i got out of school (see my other post), and had a very small leak. I also noticed this morning and on the way home that the car will bogg down when I try to accelerate until it's fully warmed up, after that it's fine (didn't do this before filter change). Anyways, we got the bolt on the bottom of the filter about 3/4 of a turn tightened. We got everything back in and go to start the car.... just turns and won't start (dsm=doesn't start monday). So eventually I found out that one of the wires on my rewired fuel pump were pulled out. I wipe away the corrosion and plug it back in, and the car started right up. I drove it around and checked for leaks. None. Ok, so it's not leaking any more. But It still does the bogg down thing when it's not fully warmed up. Another thing to take note of is I noticed the sound of a faucet running from inside the car that i didn't notice before.

What could the problem be?

You're description is very vague. Did you notice your issues after your fuel pump rewire? If I were you, I'd rip it all out and start over again with some solder this time.

I didn't actually do the rewire myself (previous owner). I just noticed it when I was relieving the fuel pressure for the filter change.

It just has a loss of power when I step on the gas and the motor is still cold. If It's still cold and I go above half throttle, it will feel like normal.

Is there any easy way to check what fuel pump i have?

I never boost when i'm not up to temp either.
