Hey guys i have pretty much all the bolt on things that i can think to get for my car. now im going to get adjustable cam gears for it next. my question is how much can i advance the timeing it untill i smack the vavle againts the piston? im also going to get the turbo intake cam off the turbo model for some extra hp:D at the same time im going to change out the water pump and the timing belt. is their anything else i should get when i do this big change?
Thanks Kevin :laser:

Adjustable cam gears are going to gain you very little if not nothing at all with your setup. You'd be better off spending the money on something else worth while. The turbo cams are a worthwhile upgrade though.

And BTW, the idea with adjustable cam gears isn't to advance them until just before they smack the pistons. They are intended to be tuned with (generally on a dyno), and adjusted until peak power is made.

buy a set of 272 cams and cam gears, and then tune your car, I'd look into a SMIM too if your going to make any "worth while" power N/A
