i cant seem to find the problem on here im having so here goes. i recently bought a 95 gst and the guy redid the motor. it was running fine all day and as i was climbing a hill and downshifted it started to run like crap and bog out and idle rough around 1000-2000. after about a min and after holding the gas to the floor the turbo and engine kicked back on and ran fine. it does it anytime i get above 4000 rpms. but wen it does it the car overheats and throws antifreeze into the overflow bottle to the point the overlfow bottle dumps it out. several people have told me that it sounds like the head gasket is bad. because the car is getting fuel (however the fuel pump hums really loud) and the turbo is spooling just fine and the bov is letting loose like it should so everyone says it sounds like the head gasket. has anyone had this problem or know what it might be. please get back to me. i am new to the dsm turbo world. thank you.

well for one thing, if your fuel pump is being really loud, that usually means your fuel pressure regulator is going bad. very common on 95 and 96 models. that might fix your problem. other wise sounds like you have some kind of boost leak or gasket problem. look around the head and look for any black stuff around gasket where exhaust is leaking.
