well i just bought another 1992 1g awd...basically a stock car,typically exhaust boost controller,boost gauge,stock cams with a 16g...vacuum's around 9-10ish,hits a rev limiter at about 5500-6000ish...is this normal?i thinks its a little low...any help would be nice...also after it hits the rev limiter at 5500ish the check engine light comes on...some please help

That isn't the limiter. That is your car not being able to burn that much fuel to the small amount of air it is getting. You need to do major boost leak checking. It might be one simple vacumm that is messed up or many so be careful. Try to get it up to around 17-18 vac. That is alittle better. You car will run alot better.

thanks..i thought it was a boost leak but i could find it(spraying starter fluid everywhere)...i'm gonna build a boost leak tester and test tomorrow...yea it did idea rough as hell too
