[RESOLVED] Will this be a boost leak?

I'm about to put this engine into my 92 tsi awd. I put the throttle body from the 92 onto the 90 intake manifold, and maybe that bolt was too long or something, but I didn't notice this until the other day. Is this a critical spot on the intake manifold? Is this thing junk or ok?

I think I was a little bit hasty in my posting, after looking at my spare manifold, I don't see how this could affect anything. I'd still appreciate confirmation on this.

no a good throttle body gasket would keep air from even reaching the threads of that bolt anyway....its fine

This also happened to the bottom bolt, and when comparing this '90 IM to the '92 IM I noticed that the studs and holes are reversed. So I guess this is what happens if you try to use bolts from a 91+ on a 90.
I didn't even tighten them that much...

Like said, with a proper sealing inner TB gasket you shouldn't have an issue. I'm not sure about the 1g mani's but with the 2g mani's & the evoIII's, all 4 TB mounting bolts are drilled/tapped right through the mani TB flange & I use a 1g gasket, which seals perfectly.

My intake manifold looks like this on both top spots....I'm boosting to 18psi with no issues...finally
