I have no idea what you are saying. Are you saying it went to 15psi, then dropped to 0, then boosted to 15psi again? Are you saying it boosted to 15psi, the CAR stopped driving, then it boosted again? What boost controller? What other supplemental supporting modifications do you have? Have you done a boost leak test? Do you have a logger?

Please be a little more specific when you ask your questions, otherwise you're going to get vague answers: e.g "I think there's something wrong with your turbo system blah blah. You should totally look into that."

I think what he meant to say is that he hit 15psi when he started to boost, it held there for a second and started to climb higher in psi as he accelerated, so he wants to know what would cause the bost to creep up like that.. Am I right?

Too keep boosting that high, you wastegate flapper isn't opening like it should be doing. I'd say take off the MBC and see if it still overboosts. If so, you either have a vac leak, thrashed actuator or something is physically holding your flapper shut. If it doesn't overboost without the MBC, you've been screwing it in the wrong direction. And BTW, you're not teeing off to the BOV for your MBC, right?

LOL sorry i wrote the description like a moron. What i was trying to say was i would be driving the car and lets say i just do a third gear pull. I would boost to 15lbs then it would hold for a second then boost up to thirty if i didnt let off the gas. and im a noob with these cars so i have no idea ### an mbc is.

My 16g does the same thing and all installation is correct.....Still surges with Loopover done,
Boost leak showed a massive leak from the throttle body at the flapper seals biss screw ect...
It is gonna get rebuilt...

I was told its just Compressor surge, and need an external wastgate, I also would like a better answer to the same question....

My mods are big 16, FMIC, Gm Blow thu, 3in Exhaust full, MBC, 2g Manifold ported cliped, and my turbo has been ported and running the 34mm flapper.
