Hesitation once car is Warm!! 1g NT

Ok this has been an on going problem, with my 93 1g NT DD.


I turn my car on in the morning and its 30 degrees outside and the car starts idle's and runs like a champ. Then my temp gauge starts going up and rest in the middle and my car is at operating tempature. Now the problems start.

Once the car is fully warmed I get some pretty jerky hesitation's when the pedal is held still at a low throttle.

At stops my idle surges and sometimes its to the point were she just about dies but she caughtes herself.

I can WOT all day long warm or cold no problem at all. 0 throttle is no problem when driving but idle surging at stops. But light throttle really kills me when cruising.

I have replaced

Plug's gaped at 32
Wires
Oil / Oil filter
Fuel filter
I have 0 CEL's

So to wrap this up

Cold and the car is ok.
Warm and I have hesistation problems.
WOT is fine
0 throttle is fine unless Im stoped then idle surge
Part throttle on the lessor side and I have jerking problems I cant get rid of.


This has been going on for 5k miles.
Never gotten worse allways the same.

i had a 90 n/t and the problem for me was the same ....turned out i had alot of carbon build up, clean the intake manifold with some spray....and clean your oxy sensor ...thats what i did and it was running fine again.

Can you go into a little more detail?

Did you have the same symptons?

And did you remove your whole intake mani or can you go into a little more detail with what spray you used etc?

eyah the stuff u can use is about 60 bucks, its a total cleaner made by penzoil. it goes by the break booster and sprays into the vacuum line cleaning any sensors that will be clogged and and carbon, the intake can stay on for the whole process, it even comes with a fuel injector cleaner....ususally walmart auto has it the whole service for 60$$$ does wonders trust me

Try your EGR valve it could getting stuck open and creating a huge vacum leak! They usually get full with carbon crap and don't seat properly. All you need is a vacuum pump and it should make the engine stumble when you apply vacuum and it should idle smooth when it has no vacuum. Try it!
