starting problem

car stalls, wait few mins then starts right back up.

It could be a gas leak. Have you messed with the fuel line or anything.

Could be blow couple coupler or most boost leak.

when i got the car. it was never giving me this problem until now. so nope never messed with the fuel line.
when it started doing it for the first time i added a Lucas Fuel injector cleaner but i doubt thats the problem.

fuel pump...sounds like a fuel pump is getting some hiccups and not delivering fuel at a constant pressure (could be the chek valve in the pump not doing it's thing to keep the fuel rail pressurized..)

When was the last time you changed out the fuel filter as well?

they told me it was changed when they sold the car to me. but it looks all dirty from the housing of the fuel filter haha.

If they told you that, I would be careful about other area's as well. Check the timing belt; it may need to be replaced. I always do a complete tune up when I get a new DSM; oil, filter, coolant system flush, tranny fluid, plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, and whatever else may need to be replaced.
