Compression Test?

Well, I was going to perform a compression test on my 2G yesterday, but when I went to pull the fuse from the + terminal on the battery, there was no in-line fuse. I was thinking about disconnecting the fuel pump, but am open to any thoughts or suggestions.

You can disconnect the cam/cam angle sensor and crank away. This will prevent the injectors from firing.

Pull the motor fuse and disconnect the triangular harness between the fuel rail and intake manifold and you're good to go. You'll see which harness I'm talking about when you pop the hood and look, its right in plain site you can't miss it.
