how is this an intercooler kit for a 2g?

could some one please tell me how this is an intercooler kit for a 2g! and if it is how you would go about installing it?

it just looks like it is for something totally different, perhaps a down pipe kit, maybe!?!?!?!

haha, well im guessing its off of ebay. the one piece is throwing me off that like you said is more of a downpipe. are you looking for a whole kit or just piping?

It doesn't says it's a FMIC kit so I would says it's a kit that replaces the stock rubber pipes with hard pipes but the pipe with the flange doesn't make sense. Send the seller a question and ask, that usually works.

That Pipeing Kit is for another vehical, NOT a 2G.
The seller obviously made a TypeO.

Well I kind of figured that. I ordered piping from some company I found through a search engine and they sent me 2 sets of the picture before the finally sent me the right stuff. And the right set wasn’t even what the description said it was. It was to be a stock pipe replacement and it ended up being a short route front mount piping kit.

Oh well I guess. I’m just going to have to get a front mount!

it is hard piping for your stock intercooler that replaces your stock piping. the one piece with the flange at the end bolts up to the intake mani.

How long have you owned a dsm? Cause if you have owned one before or done any work on one than you would know that the flange in the pic does not come close to being the right one to bolt up and replace stock piping. This one is three bolt and a DSM (talon, laser, eclipse, 1g or 2g) has a 4 bolt pattern for the throttle body! It’s cool I see that you are a newb! I am also a newb, but I am not new to the DSM scene. I started this thread to find out what these people were thinking.

yea you are correct. i it was a quick glance. my b. now that i looked at it i feel stupid. seriously my b. i have been working with dsm's since 2002. cant believe i said that.
