I havent got to fool with link yet but from what ive read it is more user friendly. You get to log with it instead of having to use another logger. It will give better readings and will also show you the knock log also.

i had a dsmlink its pretty easy and great to log with and there forums for it are great they help you in every way .........but i sold it for a greddy e-man. LOL :dsm:

I have never used an afc so I can't compare the two. But I have Dsmlink and it is pretty easy to figure out and use.

9dsm5- Any specific reason you wanted the e-manage over link?

I would have to say, even for a first time engine tuner, DSMLink is defently pretty user friendly. Read the manuel a couple times & play around abit & you should get a pretty good handle on things. Plus the users forum is great if you ever do get stuck.

And top notch forum support is only a click away. As long as you put in effort to show you're trying, the guys love to help out and get you running the best they can.

programs is pretty straight forward pending your computer usability. Read read and read the manual, and if your confused post up on the link forums, its a great resource. If you still don't feel comfortable find the nearest DSM shop you feel should tune the car :thumb:
