ok... my brother has a automatic 1g gsx... a friend gave him a 14b in replace of the stock 13b but on the O2 housing on the 14b theres a hole and I'm not gunna lie I have no clue what its for but anyways theres a hole filled with weld... he said he took it to work to get it welded shut or whatever because it holds boost or some shit... I just figured somebody on here could explain the reasoning for this or is the O2 on the 14b now junk since its welded? and if so would the 13b O2 housing work with the rest of the 14b

WTF So, he welded the o2 sensor port shut? If so, I think it's safe to say the o2 housing is junk. What did he do with the o2 sensor? Can you post a pic so we can see the housing?:talon:

It looks like they welded up the port for the o2 sensor. I don't know why anyone would do this, as you need the o2 sensor for the car to run properly.WTF Seems suspect to me. I don't recommend using this housing. Use the other one you have or get a 2g housing ($25 on ebay). Make sure you go ahead and port the housing before you put it on.:talon:
