i looked around on here but i couldn't find the answer to my question. here it is, i took the cat off my car and replaced it with straight pipe. I knew i would throw a code and i did. to be safe i key danced the car and it was cel 21, rear o2. my question is this, can this o2 sen. be turned off with a dsm link?

Correct me if Im wrong but code 21 is the front o2 sensor.
Dsmlink isn't compatible with our cars.

code 21 can be for the upstream or downstream ho2. im just guessing it is the rear. or it could be both. i did notice that the cat was grounded with a copper cable to the car. could removing that ground trip both?

Why don't you just get the o2 simulator? Cheap and should get rid of that CEL.

does anyone have a link to a good o2 sim? i have never heard of them, but it sounds good. also, i did not know dsmlink was not compatible with our cars. what instead would i use to adjust my computer.
