Hey everyone. I bought a JDM engine with transmission (a 4g63T). The engine came with an AWD transmission and I have a FWD spyder. I heard you can use the AWD but I'd rather use a gs-t transmission. Would the transmission swap be very simple and just bolt in or are there other problems I'd run into.(Wiring, ECU, etc.)
Note: I have the axles from my FWD car now.

7 bolt...even if i could get a trade from someone doing a conversion...

The only difference i know of is if its a 5-speed the flywheel and starter are different. But the only wiring on the tranny is the speed sensor and the reverse light switch which should be the same even thought its a jdm engine.

would it be worth it to just buy that locking slip to make the AWD tranny a FWD and be able to have the differential for a possible AWD swap in the future?
