Hi im looking to find a cheap yet good engine management and also if anyone has any idea on a launch control where i can find one?
 
Negative on the chip. He's listed as having a 98' on the 2nd gen only the 95' have a removable E-PROM which can be swaped out. But he could get a 95' computer and swap it into there.

Exactly. I know what needs to be done. I assume that anybody that wants to do something like this knows that they need an e-prom and knows how to check if they have one.
 
Only 95's come with EPROM. Take your ECU out and take off the case. There should be a chip on the lower right side if the pins are facing you. It should have an E, if not, then it doesn't.

If you still aren't sure search around or post up a pic of the ECU

A system that won't let you have a perfect tune except at a single load line through the map belongs in the bin, not in a car.

That is the difference between the Fuel RPM based sliders and the Airflow Frequency based sliders.

4000 RPM at 2400Hz is not 4000 RPM at 1000Hz
4000 RPM at 20 PSI is not 4000 RPM at 5 PSI

If you have a constant lean spot at 4000 RPM regardless of the airflow frequency, then you would adjust the RPM Fuel Sliders upward to raise the injector duty cycle at that RPM.

If you have a constant lean spot at 2400Hz regardless of the RPM, then you would adjust the Airflow Frequency Sliders upwards to raise the injector duty cycle at that frequency.

So this is the type of EM system you are looking for. No Recycle Bin material here:cool:.
