I don't, I'll have to go over their tomorrow and try to find one, do you think it would be financially beneficial to pursue this?

Thenumber will be on that tag that is near the outlet portion of the compressor cover.

Only if you have a fully built car.

i think that is the old garrett GTP38R of the powerstroke ford trucks.
it may be worth it in reaaly good to excellent shape they go for 300-350.
but then again, there is really not that huge of a demand for them.

i dont thinnk the Garrett GT3071R Turbo is it

It doesn't look like it because of the compressor cover inlet. You see the "cuts" in the inlet? I haven't noticed them on one before but there could be multiple options for compressor covers. Once you get the part number we will be able to tell you what it is instead of guessing.

This thread has a picture of what the gtp38r looks like. It also has a link I posted to Garrett's site for the gtp38r. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/turbo-system-tech/287996-big-turbo.html

Your's deffinately doesn't look like that turbo. Like I said once you get the part number we will be able to tell you what turbo it is.

on the gtp38r depending on the year there is a differance in the compresser cover on the inlet side of the turbo.
the i belive 95 to 99 or 99-02 have an all smooth cover like the one he pictured.
but as 1992awdlaser mentioned get that number and we can stop grabbing at straws.
good luck:thumb:
