Suspension question, will this work?

When I removed my engine the passenger side axel wouldnt come out of the steering knuckle. We ended up having to use a hydraulic press but in the process it snap a caliper mounting tab off the knuckle. So I bought a used one, but when I got it I found out its for a car with ABS (wich mine is not). Is it all right to use it still, or should I try and find a non ABS AWD knuckle?

I have found in previous experiences that the only differences between abs and non abs are the fact the axle has a tone ring or not and the knuckle has a sensor or not. They are usually identical other than that. Set the two knuckles side by side and make sure everything else looks the same and if yes then you will be fine to use the abs knuckle. Hope this helps you out. Travis

Ok that sounds good. And how about the hub/bearing then? I know that the ABS one has some sort of a ribbed disc on it wich Im guessing the abs sensor uses it to pick up the speed. Anyway, if I were to order a non-abs hub/bearing would it fit? Oh and by the way, wheres a good place to order new hub/bearings? I havent had much luck fiding them for 1g awd's.

the only issue you'll run into is the rotor might not have holes drilled to clear the ring bolts. You can just do this yourself, no biggie.

Ok so I might've figured out a solution to this.

Correct me if Im wrong but when you replace the wheel bearing it has to be pressed out. And along with that you have to press out the hub part that has the wheel studs attached. So when I replace the wheel bearings I can just have them switch the non abs hub over to the abs spindle. Thats just what I got from doing research on the wheels bearings. Why cant these just be like 2g's and unbolt from the knuckle?
