polyurethane mounts is it worth it

I know there are threads about this but most are how 2's and that. I just want to have 1st person responses on this. Is it worth my time and money to do polyurethane mounts on my FWD 96 GST. ALot of people say it helps with wheel hop and all that so I want 1st hand experiance was there a good differance?

Yes, for me the difference was noticeable. I can't say that it eliminated wheelp hop entirely but it significantly decreased it. Keep in mind that the amount of engine vibrations you will feel inside the cabin will also be substantial. Below 1000 rpms (idle) the car shakes pretty good but if performance is a priority then IMO it is worth it.

You guys are gettin me excited. 2.3 stroker without balance shafts and poly mounts should allow me to be single for a while.

in my opinion: poly mounts = a better driving experience

Thanks everyone for the first hand experiance. Im doing this strictly for performance, and wont be bothered by a rough ride

They do give the car a much more harsh ride (you can feel all engine vibrations) and my steering wheel shakes at idle, this is without balance shafts also.
