Intercooler hose

This is my situation....I just bought the evo III turbo. After about 3 hours of installation. I find that the install kit for the 2g only comes with a j pipe. I had a hard pipe coming from my t28 to the sidemount. Because its hard, and the way the j pipe comes off. It doesn't work. So I think I have to find a stock lower ic pipe. Also I have on order a greddy front mount ic. and the greddy upper and lower piping. I'm wondering am I going to have the same problem but worse. Any suggestions? Please help.

well that was kinda a waste (buying the upper and lower piping) IMO I would send it back and buy a FMIC piping kit or the whole FMIC kit

It's kind of hard to picture what you're trying to say. Are you saying that the J-pipe faces downward, whereas your intercooler hose requires a 90 degree turn? If that's the case, you can just go for a 90 degree coupler. The Greddy Kit goes to stock location, so if you need this coupler with stock parts, you will also need it with the Greddy kit.

I agree with no skillz. Try to find a 90 degree coupler or maybe rethink the greddy fmic kit for a 16g application.

Right now the J Pipe faces down. I need a 90" pipe to go to the side mount. I ordered the greddy FMIC and lower and upper piping. Is the frount mount piping going to go to the jpipe or Will it replace the jpipe and go straight to the turbo? Can I find that 90" coupler at a local store or will i have to order?

You will still need the 90* coupler since the greddy kit would need to line up with the t25/28 turbos.

man i hope you got a deal on that greddy. because you could of got that ssauto fmic kit for 300

Just buy a 90deg coupler. If you have a hard time finding it locally and don't want to order one online you can try radiator hose with a 90deg bend, but some people think this is too ghetto . It works fine for me though
