I knew it was to goood to be true. I just installed a 6 bolt 2.3 stroker. Everything is hooked up correctly. The car cranks but wont start. Someone told me its cause i dont have my dsmlink settings in(wont have laptop til weekend) but ive started my car before when my ecu was reset and it strated. I used a honda battery, shouldnt matter.. Only thing i can think of is i have the harness hooked up wrong. Like it says on RRE i hooked the blue wire from my stock cas and put into the white wire for harness. Or maybe i am plugged into the a/c cause the a/c and crank is the same sensor, i figured the crank sensor was the shorter wire and the a/c was the longer one, heres some pic,thanks

Wrong. That longer wire from the engine harness is the Crank Plug. The Shorter wire from the engine harness is the A/C plug. :D

Re_Wire.

Remember...unplug your plug wires and injectors, Then crank the engine over in till your oil light goes out. Plug it all back in. Start it up.
Also Double check that your Transistor and coil pack are fully ground. Matter of fact check all your ground cables. Make sure the factory and ones are connected tightly.
 
Last time i looked on RRE, their 6 bolt swap into a 2g had a problem with the CAS wiring. It was backwards. We switched it and it worked. Sounds like a CAS problem.

Cant be the long wire, didnt even crank over, its deff the smaller one, heres a video...

Update. car has 100 compression on cyl 3 and misfire on 2 and 1.. Gonna pull the head to see whats up with the 100 compression what should i do with the misfire..
 
Why would changing the wires,plugs.coilpack change my compression??

I think meliketoball was saying to change the plugs, wires, and coilpack to address your misfire issue. This had nothing to do with the compression. He was just saying to get rid of the misfire and drive it since it is a new motor and hopefully compression will come up after the rings seat etc.:thumb:
 
So heres the deal when i looked at the motor compression was 195 on all four now cyl 2 has 0 compression, what would cause that, by me not having my tune when i started it?
