flex-a-lite enough?

I know they're expensive, but I'm looking at buying these flex-a-lite bolt up fans:

Eclipse/Talon/Laser 1989-1994

My question is, are these going to cool enough with my Greddy 24R FMIC? I cant find CFM specs on these..which is why I am asking. The last owner put permacool or some silly shit like that on it and I dont want to have a zip tie running through my $250 aluminum radiator.

The link you provided is for DSM's 89-94 but your profile shows a 95 shouldn't you look into these .

No doubt upgrading your fans will result in lower engine temps. but other than that I don't specifics on how well they work. I still have stock fans.

If you're going to get the FAL fans, don't get the ones specifically for the Eclipse. Get the universal "220 puller" ones. They're substantially cheaper and modifying them to fit is extremely easy. You just have to cut out the holes to clear the radiator hoses and remove some of the shrouding from the outside. My brother (snowborder714) got them for $216 from Summit.

These flow 2500cfm. My brother has them on his car, and we just made custom brackets from an Erector set to mount them to his Koyo radiator. His car stays nice and cool - he has an SSAC fmic and no a/c condenser.

So they come with a shroud? If not, I'll just buy an erector set and make a bracket for the fan I have now. I'll take a look through summit's website...thanks...

By "shrouding", I meant the weatherstripping stuff that's on the perimeter. Just get some sheet metal strips from the hardware store instead of buying a whole erector set

Edit: I forgot I also made the bracket at the bottom center out of some sheet metal.
