Well, my shifting has been hard for who knows how long. Feels like it wont go into gear easy, i dont really speed shift much but in the higher rpms its tougher to shift then just the casual shifting. On occasion, and i mean occasion, it will be smooth and no hisitation going from first to second. (stock clutch, b&m short throw). I figured id get off my @$$ and crawl under the dash to adjust the clutch pedal since it engages waaay too far off the floor, like...

- All the way out
-
- Friction Point
-
-
-
-
- To the floor

As i looked up, 12mm wrench in hand to adjust, i noticed a fairly big wet spot on the firewall/floorboard. My CMC is leaking, great, need to replace it. In the mean time i tried to loosen the nut (searched on here how to adjust), i got

"loosen the nut, turn rod, tighten nut. Then drive it and test, repeat if needed"

Ok so i tried to loosen the nut, the rod just turned with it. Nut never became loose. So i tightened it, rod turned too and it never seemed to tighten. Used vice grips to hold the rod, but it still turned. Any help guys?

If the CMC is leaking it is very possible that you have air in the lines. Change the CMC and then bleed the lines. Not to mention brake fluid is corrosive and is not real good to have leaking in the floorboard.
