Data loggers

I have been reading about data loggers. I have a have a HP Ipaq pocket pc PDA. Can I use this and if so where can I get the right cables and software.

Thank you, from what I read my $300 pda is not compatible. I guess I will just continue using it for the purpose I bought it for.

I've only ever seen datalogging software that's compatible with the Palm OS. You can pick up a cheap one for about $20 if you want.

Definitly get a Palm. They are cheap and work nicely. The reason your 300 dollar PDA does not work is probably because it does not have a SERIAL port. Older PDAs have serial ports. If I'm not mistaken, your PDA needs to have a serial port to be able to work.

Actually the Palms have some sort of special connector and you use a serial adapter to link it to the OBD port.

I am still using TMO datalogger with a plain old lap-top.
