Turbo bolts borke HELP!

Ok its super cold here in ct. i had to take my turbo off tonight outside! not very happy about it but i got it off. i have one problem tho. 3 turbo bolts broke i got one of them out already ill get the other 2 out in the morring. my question is this. can i go to a hardware store and buy new ones or should i get new ones from the dealer ? my problem is i need the car running tomrrow or im screwed so any input would be helpful thank you

ive had the same problem but i couldnt get mine out so i drilled them out then retaped then to a bigger size and then went to the hardware store and bought some grade 8 bolts

I've replaced alot of bolts with ones from the hardware store. But when I tried to replace the turbo bolts I was strongly advised against it and told to get o.e.m due to the high heat they endure.

Along with the heat they need to endure, the washers used are concaved to hold the bolt solid with the heat it endures.

if you need the car you can run to the hardware store, but olny use those bolts for little as posible because they will fatige and break, make sure you get oem or arp turbo bolts.

Think about this, if the OEM bolts, which are designed to take the strain of numerous heat cycles, break, how are some POS hardware store bolts going to fare? Just use OEM, something like this Slowboy Racing, Inc. :: DSM :: OEM Parts :: Hardware :: Mitsubishi OEM Turbo Bolts

Another option is to run ARP. I've got a set that isn't in its box but has never been used. I go to Trinity College in Hartford. If you want them, I'm headed home next weekend and can grab them for you. PM me about price if you're interested.

Don't use the arp turbo bolts.
