I own a 92 GS and the other day my window just decided it didn't want to roll up or down. I took off the door panel, theres reinforced metal there which makes it just about impossible to get at the window arm mechanism. The door handle turns to a certain extent then wont turn any more. I looked down when I removed the panel and it looks like the cable that runs over the pulley is really loose and just kind of sitting there. I can't find a decent schematic on how the whole system works. So my question is how can I remove the window arm so I can see what's wrong and does anybody have a link to the expanded view of how the whole system works? Thanks.

Im not sure what you mean by arm? Do you mean the crank?

Below is what youre working with. (not sure which side you are talking about)

67214L - window regulator, left side - MB517773 - $92.64
67214R - window regulator, right side - MB517774 - $92.64

(If that is in fact the problem which it sounds like - if so I would pull from a junkyard to save some money)

67291 - apparently there are 14 of these in your door (maybe both sides together)
67287 - 4 of these are listed to be in your door (again maybe both sides)

This is the only thing I could find. Possibly post a pic of what youre looking at and someone else with a 1g GS can chime in.

Yes, the Window Regulator is what I'm looking for. It's not a motorized window though, the ones I saw on PartsTrain were $80 for the power window regulator.
