hi i have a ripped boot on my front right axle. the car is awd and i did a donut with the ripped boot and then when i tried to make a turn the car would shake violently and the steering wheel would try to turn by itself. u think its just the axle or maybe i messed up my front differential?

Right when you noticed that ripped boot you should have overhauled the axle or replaced it.

You more than likely screwed up the axle. Lift up the car and check.

the car is awd and i did a donut

 ...

your axle is worn and you need to rebuild it and or buy a new one asap. the part where you said it was turning the wheel by itself... well that is the cv side of your axle. it is so worn that it is now binding in certain positions therfore holding/pulling the knuckle
