boost leak?

I've got a 93 TSi AWD w/ a Super 20G upgrade on it... It seems to stumble pretty hard as it starts to build boost... It builds boost, but takes it to about 5800 for full spool... We're gonna try a leakdown test tomorrow.. I'm just trying to get opinions.. It has a walbro 255 and aeromotive AFPR on it set to 39 PSI, and the safc is flat right now b/c the 450's are in there... it rly needs a wideband to see whats goin on... but there no doubt about it that its running RICHHHH, so lean rly isnt in my worries right now...

Have you done a boost leak test?? Are you planning to upgrade the injectors as I see you have a pump and regulator? The 450s arent going to enable you to see what the 20g can do. Do you have any other mods, fill out your profile so others can see your upgrades in future posts. And I would think even a zeroed safc with the 450s would be alright but im sure you could dial it in better with those upgrades. Do you have a logger? And how much boost are you running?

I just traded a motor for this car running! ... Just picked it up and it was all messed up fixed a few leaks and rough idle... Still think is has a bad idle set screw seal causing an idle surge... Its' on 10 lbs right now... Its not on a logger yet... I actually just wanna sell it to get another 1GB I'm interested in... If someone gives me 1,500 they can have it all right now... It runs good just low throttle driving is a lil rough from what I'm assuming is an air leak.. We're testing for a leak tomorrow... Upgrades are the Blox turbo version of a 20G, Dejon tool FMIC and straight through intake setup on it, Aeromotive AFPR and walbro 255, then the safc... It has a custom fabbed 3 inch DP from what I can tell too... Its open DP right now...
