need help on install dizzy

sorry, can't post anywhere but here so here i go, replacing a 1st talon tsi distributor and how do i know which way to put it into the head? there is a marking on the gear side. can someone point me to the right direction, thanks in advance. nothing has been touched except for pulling the distributor out.

can't seem to find this info anywhere. i'll give it a wild guess, #1 cylinder TDC, gear mark match to mark on dizzy housing?

Ok, since no one else is chiming in because your not following the rules, I will. First off, use proper spelling. Second off, search before posting questions about parts that arent even on the car. Third, buy a shop manual. Your local parts store or dealership will have it. Follow the forum rules or you will get banned. Im not going to show you them since you should have read and acknowledged them before joining. Bewaaareeeee the moderators.

Are you talking about a CAS or a distribution block? The CAS is at the end of the intake camshaft and the distribution block has the spark plug wires attached to it. As stated before, our cars don't have a distribution block.

Only DSM's with distributors were the 1.8L I believe, as for answering your question you might want to check the N/T section...big_d
