Yesterday i was out doing some tuning of some higher boost levels since teh new AFPR has changed my mapping a bit and i was laying into it gradually in 3rd and turning the boost up 1 psi at a time while watching AFR's. Well, when i got to 21 PSI teh front wheels started spinning, not steadily but trading off side to side alsmot like torque steer. IT was a great feeling, but i know it won't = better ET's.
Anyone else spinning tires in third w/o hammering into it from full spool in 2nd?
Just curious.

I've got 26 x 10 x 15 inch clicks and i still spin them all through 2nd at only 19 PSI ( i set my best time at 19 PSI on slicks... 12.08 @ 117 MPH at KCIR (kansas city international raceway) If i would have had an LSD i would have surely broken 11's that day, but traction was scarce and my tranny was acting up..no surprise there. it actually wouldn't go into 4th for about 1/2 the trip down there. But, i figured i hardly ever use 4th in the 1/4 mile anyway, i just run past the usable rev range in 3rd to avoid the shift
