hmm stop and go problem

When I come to a light and stop in my auto GS, every once in a while when I let off the brakes to go, it seems to choke for a second as if it wants to die. I know the crappy air intake leaks.. the owner before me is to blame for that.. is that the problem? or potentially? If not, what else could it be?

if its leaking before the maf then yeah that could be the problem because it wouldnt be reading accuratly...try fixing it see what happens

Thanks, I got a cheapy one off ebay for a temp fix, anything would be better than a leaking one

ok for one if its a GS. it dont have a maf, it has a map sensor. check the fuel filter and plugs. maybe a vacume leak

K plugs are ruled out, they are less than 2k old. Fuel filter.. I will check this tomorrow as well as put on the new CAI.. Thanks and I will let you guys know what happens
