major problems on 1g talon

hay guys my friend just bought a 91 awd turbo talon from a guy on this forum and theres way more problems than expected i was wondering if i could get some help with fixing them.

1st i need to put on a new timing belt already found out how so no problem there
2nd where the sending unit line comes down right over there rear differential theres a major leak. how do i go about fixing this do i need a new sending unit or is there a easier solution. if i need a new one where can i purchase one.

there was a fire under the hood near the cam gears and now the windows wont roll up is there any of the wires for the windows near that area i could check to see if theres damage if not any ideas what could of happened

Sounds like you have your hands full! The sending unit can be replaced with a junkyard sending unit, the bad part is that they are all pretty weak yet too, that metal neck is a POS. I had recommended to somebody today already to drill out the tube from the sending unit and put a bulkhead in place of it... you can get the pieces from Jegs or Summitt.
