AWD Movement Question

I know I'm not a newbie but I figure this is a newbie question because apparently this is common knowledge but I just heard about this the other day. I had someone, who seemed reputable, tell me that the gsx puts down power to 2 wheels, front driver and rear passenger. I tried searching but don't really know what to type in the search box. Could someone please shed some light on this because this is bugging me. Thanks ahead of time.

WTF GSX or TSI AWD = ALL WHEEL DRIVE.

Thanks, what you posted is what I was thinking. Just wanted to make sure I hadn't been misinformed this whole time.
