Too Much Boost??

If its automatic you could upgrade to the manual 450's (injectors) If its manual you could go around 550-650s. Make sure you get yourself an AFPR and adjust fuel pressure accordingly though. I would also get a different FP like a Walbro 190 or 255. You MUST get an AFPR if you go with the 255 though. Let's see.. That should keep you safe for a while if you want to play in that boost range a little bit, just remember not to get too happy w/o proper tuning ;). I have a 2G with every bolt on mod and I just hit fuel cut at 16psi... I do have a MAF-T which is a touchy bas!@$% and I think that might have something to do with it but that kinda lets you know what your playing with. O, and if your running the stock 14B then anything in that boost range pretty much has it maxed out so keep that in mind.

I used run 12psi with my big 16g, and stock fuel/internals. My exhaust temps at high rpm were at 1300-1350 which is pretty high. So i can guarantee your burning a valve. If you have a 14b turn it down under 15psi untill you get some fuel mods. afpr, injectors, 190/255lph pump, and a way to tune safc, dsmlink

Stock is 37 for 1g. you may have to lower it if you have a higher fuel pump to compensate.

Not true. You should always leave base fuel pressure at 37psi on a 1g.

As others have said on here, you won't know what a safe boost level is until you datalog. Until you get the right tools to do that and upgrade your fuel system, I would keep your boost levels relatively low. It's better to be safe that way.
