running lean after downpipe install

ok so i just installed my cat delete downpipe and now after 3k rpm my a/f gauge goes from rich to lean anyone know why?

Is this a WBO2 or one of the blinking narrow band gauges? Either way, it sounds like you have an exhaust leak somewhere pre-O2 if you weren't having this problem prior to the install.

its a narrowband,and can this problem be dangerous like blowing something?

Narrowbands aren't a very accurate way of monitoring a/fs. They only give a general idea what the ratio is. Check bolts and make sure they are tight, did you use gaskets?

That depends. If it really is running excessively lean, then yes, you can blow it up. If it's something like an exhaust leak that's introducing air pre-O2, then no but it will probably throw off your FT's.
