Boost Leak?

Where I use to hold about 18psi i can now only get 8psi. When im driving it sounds like the blowoff valve is constantly releasing pressure. I just recently pulled my tranny and put everything back together... Maybe I hooked something back up wrong or forgot to hook something up?

Do a boost leak test and find out for sure!

If you have an mbc, make sure it is not hooked up backwards or incorrectly. If your mbc is teed into your bov line and is not correctly connected, it could cause the bov problems you are having.

Also put your ear next to your throttle body when your car is running and pull the throttle a little. Can you hear air like coming from the back of your throttle body. Follow all vaccuum lines and check intercooler clamps. Do the leak test and listen up . Let us know what you find.

I checked afew things... BOV seems to be working as it should. One of my clamps off my intercooler piping it shot. So I will replace that and see what that does for me.

Replaced one of the couplets coming off the turbo... it was baad... That fixed my idle problem, boost leak and the bucking at 3krpm...

nice good thing you found the problem go ahead and also put tie straps on the little hoses too with age they like to get loose and blow off also
