Alright I have a 16G in my car right now but somewhere in like 6-12 months away I want to upgrade to a 20g... My question is what size injectors should I get. Should I get 680's? I read that you can't tune them on a SAFCII? Would an AFPR fix that?... Not sure which size injectors to get here.. also I'm running 3" Intercooler piping right now and having spool up problems which might be from the large intercooler piping... not figured out yet.. would 2.5" help the spool up time and be sufficient for a 20G?

I also can't really afford dsm link so I was kinda hoping that a safcII would do the trick.. idk

The biggest injectors you can run with a SAFC are 650's.

First off safc isnt the best way to tune to begin with and I personally dont like them.
A cheap and cost effective way of tuning for me was running a chipped ecu.
You have to have eprom to do this in the first place but if you do i would definitly go this route over safc. With my friends help in a few things Im at the point now i can burn my own chips w/ eprom rom tuning software.. The chip would also help you run as big of injectors as you want like stock, and it can be used in addition with an safc for fine tuning...More info reguarding that-

As far as the 3in intercooler piping I think it probably is hurting your spool a good deal.
Honestly I dont think one would need 3in icp until he has reached the 500 + whp levels...

And depending on what variation of 20g you get, a real TDOH6 Mhi 20g is a great turbo to run, with excellent tuning and increased motor VE you can spool a 20g by 3500rpms on some set ups and push excess of 450 hp with MHI reliability.
