Okay I just recently installed a 16g w/ fmic, manual boost controller, and a catch can... my question is my intake pipe has 2 nipples on it how can I route this so that I don't need to use any of the nipples on the intake pipe anymore? also I see there is a selenoid underneath the intake on the far left sorta by where the smic was. Is there anyway to eliminate this? I have my mbc hooked up to the wastegate and to the jpipe so I'm not even using these lines..I am also curious where I can run the other line coming from the catch can that is supposed to be rerouted into the intake pipe... is there anywhere I can route this to so I don't need these nipples on my intake pipe? Help me clean up my car :/ its a freakin mess
 
The solenoid you are referring to sounds like the boost control solenoid. Leave it connected to the electrical connector (so you don't get a CEL) but you can remove the vacuum lines. The small nipple on the underside of the intake pipe that it was connected to can be capped off.

The large nipple on the intake pipe is for the EVAP system and is best left as is (unless you have modified your EVAP emissions).

The other nipple is for a connection to the valve cover. It is best to leave this in the stock configuration for proper removal of blowby gases from the crankcase. So you should have a vacuum hose running from the passenger side of the valve cover to the catch can and then to the intake pipe.
 
I see all kinds of people with no hoses running to there intake pipes... so there's no way around it? i'm not worried about legality
 
Most people don't know that they aren't removing all of the blow by from the valve cover and therefore have more crud in their oil. The only way to have a valve cover ventilation system at idle and during boost is to have the breather side connected to a catch can, then the intake pipe so it will be under constant vacuum. The PCV valve will vent during vacuum and close while under boost (or it is supposed to at least). This is how it is originally set up from the factory and is the ideal way. :thumb:
 
Agrred with romeen and alex99gst ^^^^. I have the breather side run into my catch can and then out to my intake pipe. Then the small nipple on the bottom I have connected to my charcoal canister(because I didnt remove it).:dsm:
