Alright well i have my dsm link just sitting in my room and i have everything but the 3 bar map sensor. Is there anything i have to do to my car before i put it in? Is there anything i have to do with the wire on the clutch?

You don't really NEED anything else besides Link itself, inside the Eprom ECU. Well, I have a 2g (97) and since I'm using a 95 ECU in my 97, I had to have my chip programmed for an inverted CAS, and I had to swap the firing order of the plug wires. Easy enough.

I don't know if the clutch cut wire is necessary. I think it might only be, if you're using NLTS. I did it anyways, since the directions made it look really easy. It's not. Try soldering two wires together while on your back, looking up under your dash. It's a job that takes four hands, in a space you can barely fit one. I got it done though, pro style.ROFL

If you plan on using NLTS, the supplied wire and instructions won't work for a 90. Check the Link forums for more info on this.

So true.......took me a few hours just to hook up the clutch cut wire.....

Or the two-stage stutterbox... generally anything that uses the clutch sensor wire. The '90 model year provides a backward signal compared to later years. Something along the lines of 91+ providing ground when the clutch pedal is pressed down, but the '90 removing ground, or vice-versa. There are workarounds up on the DSMLink forums, but it's nowhere near as simple as on the 91+, sadly.
