Coolant overflow question

Would it be bad to run my car without a coolant over flow resevoir for a while?

So where is the water gonna go when it gets hot? Are you just gonna dump the hot water out the coolant neck to overflow bottle line?

Just get a gatoraide bottle and stick that in there. Running without overflow will leave you strained on the side of the road with an overheating dsm in a hurry.

Modern cars don't run air in the cooling system. Put a catch tank on immediately.
