I've got a motor with wiseco pistons on 1g rods. I just purchased eagle rods and sent the motor and the rods to the machine shop to have them replace the 1g rods with the Eagles. Now I just got a call from the machine shop saying the small end of the rods are too small to fit the pistons... Whats going on???

Cheers

EDIT- Told the machinist to measure the wrist pins, Turns out the pistons in the motor are for a 2G. Thanks for everyone's help

No the wiseco's were on 1g rods, and now I'm trying to swap the 1g rods with Eagle rods, but the machine shop is saying the the piston end of the rods is too small and cant be done

Oh okay, sorry the way you worded it had me a little confused. I can't help with that though. The only thing I could guess would be that somehow a wrong part was used somewhere. Sorry I can't help, goodluck.

The best thing you can do is call the company you ordered them from and make sure that you got the correct rods. It should be no problem for them to check the part numbers for you.

There are two diferent part numbers for the 1g engines and someone at the company that doesnt know what the diference is could have sent you incorrect ones.
